Our 26' GMC Royale Rear Bath Motorhome must be listed For Sale due to medical reasons.

A Brief Background:
Our GMC has been in the family for approximately 25 years. My children have many wonderful memories of travels across the US with their grandparents in this GMC. When my father-in-law shared with me two years ago he was thinking of selling it due to his not being able to drive anymore, I did not think twice about buying it. Yes, memories played a part, but more importantly the fact the Motorhome was well taken care. Over the last several years as time and money allowed, I had the Motorhome inspected, renewed and improved from one end to the other to make sure it would provide many years and miles of safe, reliable and enjoyable travel. The GMC Motorhome facility specialists can provide documents and verification for all that was accomplished. The only items I had left on my list I thought about doing was to install a new dash board/gauges/covering. Below is a list of upgrades and maintenance accomplished (started in 2010 and completed in June of 2012, 3,000 miles later).

THIS 1978 GMC ROYALE MOTORHOME is a beautiful classic and as such, I wanted to keep it that way. The solid cherry cabinets/paneling, cedar lined closet, solid aluminum framing (not wood) and aluminum side/top make this Motorhome what it is! Everything works great; compressor, air bags, bathroom facilities, holding tanks, etc. Since 2010, I have spent over $38,000 on our Motorhome. This may seem like a lot to invest if you are not familiar with the GMC Royale Motorhome and the history. Take some time and do a little research. Compare this to what a new Motorhome costs and take a close look at the construction and quality with a '78 GMC Royale.

In 2010, I requested the GMC Royale Motorhome be insured through Progressive Insurance and requested an agreed dollar amount in case of a loss. Progressive (through a representative) appraised the Motorhome for $25,000. I have not requested an updated appraisal to reflect everything that has been accomplished since then. If you are interested in our Motorhome and have a desire to own it, you are welcome to have your mechanic/repair facility accomplish a thorough inspection. I am asking $38,000 based on what was spent to purchase the Motorhome and spent for bumper to bumper maintenance/improvements/renovation to improve our GMC. I will consider a reasonable offer. The GMC is garaged in Shiro Texas.
