1977 GMC 23' Transmode finished by Coachman Industries as a rear dry bath Birchaven. It has 85,600 miles on it but only about 1,000 on the newly rebuilt 403 Olds engine. The engine has Thorley Headers feeding a custom exhaust system. It's all kept cool with the upgraded Aluminum Radiator. The rebuilt tranmission is only a couple of years old. Includes an auxiliary electric fuel pump and a 5 belt Cadilac belt system.
This GMC drives well, looks good, and is very easy to park. It's quick and easy to transition to a camper upon arrival at your destination. There is a solar panel on the roof to add extra power at the camp site. Ragusa Step for easy entry. The full patio awning is great for relaxing outdoors. The updated Generac generator provides ample power to run the roof A/C, the microwave/convection oven, and/or other appliances when needed. The wood laminate floor is warm and inviting.
It is repainted in a custom pale green with tinted windows and pleated privacy shades all around. There is a trailer hitch in case you want to pull a trailer a tow car with you. The Alcoa aluminum 16" wheels with all weather tires set it off as a true Classic Vintage Hot Rod with plumbing!
