Mechanically sound. Engine rebuilt by Applied GMC Motorhomes. New Knuckles and steering parts, torque Converter, Radiator. New headliner with insulation and resealed
all windows. Very many updates by recent previous owner as well. I have receipts. We have been very pleased with this motorhome, both in comfort and performance. We just completed a 3000+ mile trip to the southwest during a record heatwave and enjoyed every minute of the trip. The bed is comfy, the AC kept us cool, the coach was easy to drive, and the solar system worked great. All appliances work. The macerator makes dumping quick and easy. In truth, we are only selling “Alice” because we have three very active cats who will be travelling with us, and we just need a little more room. The coach worked really well for the two of us. If it wasn’t for the “fur children” you couldn’t pry this motorhome out of our hands. We set it up for full-timing and boondocking, and it will go wherever you want it to. As an added bonus, you will get a lot of smiles, waves and “thumbs-up” wherever you go ... people love these GMC Classics! $19,500 OBO. in Santa Cruz, CA (10-7-17) Sold 10/14/17 for $18k

1975 PALM BEACH , TZE165V101361 -
Great starter coach for the next family. Great coach with good bones. Mostly original interior. 455 engine with 104,000 showing on the odometer, (not sure of exact mileage). We have had it since the late 90's. Transmission and the final drive rebuilt in the early 2000's, (went out in California on a trip). Central vacuum. When we got it, it was renovated to include: new windshields and all window seals replaced, brakes, ceramic tile floors, new carpeting, rebuilt cabinets, recent refridgerator, exterior paint, two new air conditioners, and a new converter. The generator needs work, starts but won't stay running. Last used Thankgiving 2016. Since my Dad is gone, it doesn't get used as much. Started regularly, and kept under cover in Central Florida. Very clean. Sleeps 4, couch converts to bunks and rear dinette converts to a full bed. Roof top storage pod. GMC service manuals come with coach. Extra transmission from an El Dorado and the original awning frame, (will need new canvas), will also go with the coach. Fold out step and original GMC step included.

Kudos:
I would almost have to say that if you want to have a life, don't use Billy's site to sell a GMC.
We were inundated with phone calls and emails and requests for pictures. We actually sold it to the first couple who inquired about it.
We also had calls from Florida, Arizona, Iowa and two from Canada. One of the Canadians was absolutely devastated that he missed it. A guy from Tucson was getting ready to fly down Tuesday to see it.
Thanks for your help. We'll certainly recommend your site.

Kudos from the seller:
GMC Classics was an immediate help in selling our coach. We had 7 serious inquiries in about 10 days from all across the country, including the ultimate buyer. Billy was responsive and helpful throughout as the listing was being posted.
A sign in the coach window is just not how you can sell a specialized vehicle like a GMC Motorhome anymore. GMC Classics has a nationwide reach. Take the best photos you can, be honest in listing both the pluses and any issues, price it reasonably and you will be successful. |

1976 Eleganza II 26 ft. - $2000 Family issues require our immediate relocation. We've had it in the family since about the mid 1980's - my father-in-law bought it and restored the interior and engine. When he got too old to work with it anymore, he gave it to my wife, in about 1999. This motorhome took us to NM and back in 2005/6, so we had the engine, alternator, cooling system, and carburetor rebuilt after tow-truck punctured the radiator. It currently isn't running due to the fuel delivery system, either blocked line or pump. My wife nor I have time or energy to work on it anymore, but we bought two new airbags and a brake line adapter to install on the vehicle a couple years ago (parts are over $1200 alone) but never installed them. We crank the engine monthly, but it hasn't started in two years. We keep the battery on trickle charge. Complete sets of manuals. My dad had it reupholstered and the materials still look brand new. I believe the front seats are original. Good candidate for restoration or to use for parts. I believe the odometer reads out (as I write this I'm not at the location where the motorhome is) less than 80,000 miles. Anxious to sell soon because we are selling the house in Waxahachie, Texas where it is located. VIN TZE166V102779 $2000 OBO. As far as I know everything else works. The tandem axle covers (fiberglass) are both torn into two parts but could be easily restored. Overhead storage is also in Waxahachie. My wife will be there next Thursday, August 27, and will clean it out of possessions. It would be a good time to schedule a look at it. The airbags would need to be installed before it could be moved. The back rear tires/axle is up on blocks. (8-21-15) Sold 9/19/15 for ~$1,500
1978 Royale - Store your tent in the overhead carrier and travel in style! This rear bath, twin beds motorhome is the original. It was built in 1978 and sold for $48,000 new! That was more than my house in '78. I am only the third owner in its 37 year history, and most of that time it has been housed or covered during winter. All the items about to be mentioned are new: Firestone tires, Dometic 2way fridge, brakes, shocks, radiator, wheel cylinders, sway bar bushings, Fantastic two way fan, and new leather steering wheel! It has front wheel drive and is powered by a 403 cubic inch engine. The generator has only 255 hours on it and was recently gone through and runs perfectly! It came equipped with a central vacuum system, a built in blender, Magic Chef oven and built in speakers front and rear. There are 59,000 original miles on it.
I have ALL the paperwork, receipts, documents, and club membership mailers, parts indexes, you name it. This coach has been loved and cared for all of its life!
Come and see it for yourself, if only to just look.
Some more items that I failed to mention are: awning by Carefree, flat TV, cd/tape player and lots of spare parts, I mean lots!
There are things that still can be improved and that is where you come in. $14,999. For more information, call Michael in Cottonwood Heights, Utah VIN TZE368V100233 (8-14-15)

1977 Royal - 26'. Just under 101 K miles on this unit that has, generator, rear bath, three way refrigerator, propane forced air heat, central vac, microwave, gas stove, two AC units, top storage pod, ladder, awning, receiver hitch, widshield cover, some spare parts including two (new?) airbags, lots of (all?) manuals, good tires, new shocks, no smoking and a clear title. This MH runs very well, I drove it to Homer last june from California with no problems except that the batteries had to be replaced. Mileage was around 9 or 10 (the usual for these type). GMC Transmode. Formerly used as a mobile television
broadcast unit and is now completely empty behind the driver's compartment.
We had intended to build a motorhome/tow vehicle out of this GMC but
a family emergency required us to buy a finished motorhome. This is
the perfect platform to build a motorhome the way you want it. It
could be a great tailgating machine
maybe with a purple and
gold interior? The desirable GMC chassis needs to have the motor freshened
up and the rear suspension airbags have a slow leak. The body is straight
but will need paint, the rear steel door has some rust but should
be easily repairable. Roof A/C units are in unknown condition. This
vehicle was driven from Florida to Northern Alabama and then to Central
Louisiana in its current condition. The motorhome is located in Alexandria,
LA. Price is $3,750.00. (1-28-04) Sold 4-14-04
